Dr. Andrew Richard Owusu Addo

Head of Department / Senior Lecturer

Dr. Addo is a jeweller by training and profession with over two decades of experience. Hailing from Abiriw in the Eastern Region, he completed his education at KNUST and entered private practice, designing and producing fine jewellery. He has played a key role in the development of Techbridge University College as part of both the Preparatory and Implementation Committees. Today, he leads our Department of Jewellery Design Technology, nurturing the next generation of creative and technical jewellery masters.

Kwabena Asomaning is an esteemed jeweller, designer, educator, and researcher with over two decades of experience in jewellery design, fabrication, and technical instruction. He is deeply passionate about merging traditional Ghanaian jewellery heritage with contemporary technological innovations, fostering a synthesis that preserves cultural memory while introducing modern technical standards. Beside lecturing, he is the founder of Goldsense Jewelry, a bespoke studio showcasing handcrafted Ghanaian jewelry, and serves as NaCCA/CTVET curriculum developer, international facilitator, and trade organization secretary, shaping the landscape of Ghanaian goldsmithing.

Selete Komla Delali Ofori is a highly accomplished lecturer in the Department of Jewellery Design Technology at Techbridge University College (formerly AsanSka University College of Design and Technology). Apart from teaching, Selete is a premier practicing professional Bench Jeweller who employs intricate goldsmithing and metalsmithing techniques such as wire working, embossing, stone setting, casting, sheet forming, chasing, and repoussé in the fabrication of fine jewellery items. Visually expressive, Selete is a prominent metal artist whose mediums of choice span ferrous and non-ferrous precious metals (chiefly gold and silver). He is active in national jewellery networks, showcasing Ghanaian craftsmanship to the world.
